The train is leaving the station

Google, finally, launched their calendar last week and it is so sweet! Thanks to DiggNation‘s Alex and Kevin, I have just imported my entire MS Outlook calendar and I will soon see if I am indeed free of Outlook. I have been forwarding all my email accounts to Gmail for a couple months and that’s been cool, but my calendar was one of the major hurdles to ditching Outlook for good. Gmail allows me to accept (or decline) an appointment that was generated in Outlook and automatically sends it Google Calendar. So sweet! Just yesterday, I was tied to my employer‘s internal network for sending and receiving appointments. Now, I don’t see any reason to ever be at my desk again…well, I do have to figure out how to forward my office phone to my cell phone…then…ah, yes…then…I will be free.

I may spend days on end now at Dunn Bros. Long live free wireless!
