We had a parent/teacher interview with Zeke’s teachers at preschool this week. I am so glad we decided to send Zeke to preschool this year. He has grown up so much and has gained so much self-confidence! At the interview they gave us a whole package of things that Zeke had made or worked on. Included in the package was Zeke’s “Friend List.” On his friend list was “Bennett, Drew and Brian” and his teachers wanted me to know that every child included Zeke on their “Friend list.” What a great honor! I love it!
I volunteered at Elijah’s school today. His school strongly encourages parent involvement – which I absolutely love. I try to go most Thursdays. It’s so fun to see Elijah “in his element” – he is an excellent student and loves to learn. And I really enjoy kids his age. I think I’ll be a Kindergarten teacher when I grow up!
Also “happening” – our family has had a great time this week participating in “National TV Turn Off Week.” Most of our friends thought we were nuts, but it’s been really refreshing! The other night my four boys tossed a ball back and fourth and they just talked (okay, so Noah didn’t talk, but he’s got a really good arm!). Imagine! There’s no telling what will happen when the TV is covered up with a blanket!

I can’t believe I’ve just found your site now! Hooray! I also can’t believe how much your boys have grown. I’ve just spent the past hour reading your older posts – time well spent, I must say.
