We let Elijah and Zeke camp out last night…on our patio! The giggling and whispering went on way too late, but Dave and I said nothing. We both agree that the late night talks we had with our siblings were the best!
We had talked about really going camping this weekend, but because of Noah’s strange rash and slight fever, we decided against it. Camping this summer could prove to be a lot more challenging then it was last summer though. Last summer Noah was a only few months old and could lay happily in his Pack’n'Play under the cover of mosquito netting. Not any more! …Yeah, it might just be Daddy and the two older boys this summer! We’ll see.

I love the two-year spacing between kids… it sounds like Zeke and Elijah are as close to each other as Maren and Malcolm are.

Yes, they are really close – I’m very thankful.
It’s always nice to hear that brothers and sisters that are close in age can be good friends too. Noah neads a sibling (two years younger, of course!) and sometimes I worry that he and a girl wouldn’t get along.

Glad to see the boys were “camping”. The night they slept on the patio was the very night I told Marinne that if it was a little easier for me to get up off the floor now, I’d be sleeping on the deck under the stars. What a beautiful night for it!
