After many years of talking about it, Dave finally has some contact lenses. He really looks so different! And with his glasses off, it’s easy to see where our boys get their beautiful, big, blue eyes! He’s especially excited that he’ll be able to where some “sick” (Did you know “sick” is the new word for cool?) sunglasses.

When I saw this picture the first word that came to mind (since I have trouble looking at things like this) was the word “sick” — used in the old way (since I’m old). However, I know that you have been wanting contacts for a long time so I’m glad you got them. Just put them in when I’m not looking. Glad you’re coming soon!

Sorry! After I posted this picture, I wondered if it would be too graphic for some…guess I didn’t wonder long enough! Elijah and Zeke were fascinated watching him put them in, so I thought the rest of the world would be too (ha ha).
I’m kind of having a hard time getting used to Dave in contacts…the only times I’ve ever seen him without his glasses on is right before his head hits the pillow at night, and then for a little bit in the morning, when he is half asleep. So, because of this, he just always looks tired to me!
