Just when you think your safe…when you’ve breathed in the fall air with rapture and declared, “This is my time…my time to spend a carefree evening outside with my children without a thought of being bitten by a ravenous mosquito!”

Little Noah was a victim of a contumacious mosquito! And look where it bit my poor baby! Wretched things!

Maclean woke up with his eye half-closed this summer. I wasn’t sure what had happened, but then Scott discovered the bitemark at the side of the eye. Most bites that he receives swell to huge bumps. Mosquitoes are Maclean’s kryptonite.

It looks a lot better today…the swelling is gone, but it’s still pink.

Hey Jan,
Poor little man! Even with that big bite his eyes still look so big and blue! Its fun reading all the “mommy” comments :O) Its kind of like a little mom group! I love it!
Isaac…not one bite this summer…good point…bad point…I kinda think its the smog in TO that keeps them away! Some how I don’t think thats a win/win situation.
Mom’s having fun already…crazy lady…she is heading downtown to the Anne Graham thingy…on the subway no less. I think she will have the time of her life!
Hugs to you all!

You sent Mom on the subway by herself? Do you think that was a good idea? Just joking…sort of. They’re easy to get lost in, but on the other hand, there’s always someone around to ask for directions. I’ll be interested to hear about the Anne Graham conferance…

Poor Baby, but maybe it looks worse than it is. I can’t believe my sister went on the subway to see Ann Graham, it reminds me of the first time Mom and Dad came to Toronto. They decided they were going to Fairveiw Mall (by themselves), I was terrified they would not make it across the street, so when I got to work, I called them and asked “are you sure you know how to cross the street by yourselves?” Happy Memories! Janet send me your email address, I have something I want to send to you. Also Jill’s address. Love to all Darlene

Oh, poor little guy!!
I feel so fortunate that the mosquitos haven’t been bad this summer, and Claire only got one bite the whole summer! I get so “mother bear” about bugs around my kids, and so mad when one of them bites one of mine!
