Not sure how much blogging I’ll get done in the next couple of weeks…my mother arrives today for a two week visit. Happy days! The boys are very excited, and so are Dave and I (we always try to cram in a years worth of dates when my mother comes for a visit!).
I’ll leave ya’ll with a photo of Elijah and Zeke from this morning, all decked out in their Twins garb. For those of you who are oblivious to the world of sports (as I usually am) the Twins play their first game in the playoffs today. (I just learned that in baseball, it’s the “playoffs”, and not the “finals”. Who makes up these rules anyway?) It’s kind of exciting. I can kinda/sorta understand how big-time sports fans become so psycho when “their team” wins or loses. I really don’t care about baseball – or any sport for that matter – but still, there’s definately an excitement that comes when you live in a city with a sports team that might actually win something!
