Brrrrrr! It’s cold! And it feels even colder since we’ve had so few days below freezing this winter…our bodies aren’t used to it. It was -6 degrees Fahrenheit this morning when Elijah ran off to the bus stop. What a little trooper!

We are finally getting winter too. We had snow yesterday, freezing rain today and cold and sunny tomorrow (-35 C with the windchill) That’s -31 F. Definitely cold no matter which thermometer you use! I’ll use my cap with the eartabs when I go to work.

Dad, I must say, the thought of you in that eartabbed hat is amusing. But, at the same time, it is not suprising.

Actually, it’s my Afgan hat Jon brought home for me from Delhi. It rolls right down over my ears. Great for sandstorms as well as snowstorms too, I guess, because you can roll it down over your eyes and yet see through it. I’ll be sure and pack it if I ever go to the desert.
