Here is something I just don’t understand…

How the male species feel like they’re bonding by staring at a TV monitor while playing a video game…in this case Mario Golf. (Well, mostly the male species. I do realize some females enjoy a good video game now and then too. If you’re one of them, then more power to ya! But I, most certainly, am not. Maybe the fact that I lose miserably at every game that I play has something to do with it?)
Our kids are allowed to play a couple of hours of GameCube every Saturday morning. A very welcome visitor for the past few Saturday mornings has been cousin Aidan from Canada. Very cute. Here’s a crazy thought: in 15 or 20 years they’ll be reminiscing about the summer of 2007 – when they played the archaic GameCube together.
Cute Janet! But we use to love to spend hours playing packman or that gold finding game when we could get our hands on it…don’t you remember?? I hope your well! I keep meaning to call but then think of how busy you must be….so I will call but if you really can’t talk you can tell me so!!!
Love you so much and miss you tons!
Oh, and, what I think is funniest about that photo is the skinny little boy legs. They all use to be such little chunks. Izze is loosing his baby fat too…so sad!!!
I’m not into video games much, but can enjoy them every once in a while – the think I don’t get is:
Guys can be entertained watching other guys as the play! I mean, if I’m not playing it’s not fun to sit there and watch someone else play the game… I guess I just don’t get into it that much.
Janet – I don’t think I’ve even seen you since we’ve been back!!! Oh wait, I did on Canada day… but since then?
