Cruise Control

Can you believe this is my baby?  Pulling herself up, and cruising around on the furniture.  Unbelievable.  And let me just say that I think it’s really unfair that my daughter (it still sounds so wierd to say that!) has been my earliest crawler – she was barely six months old.  I thought girls were supposed to be more into the verbal side of things, and slower at those large motor skills.  No such luck for me.

She’s gradually looking more like a girl (I think), although, she still gets mistaken for a boy when she’s in some of her brothers’ clothing.  Normally, I can’t get enough of all the pink, but there are a few outfits that she simply must wear.  Like the fuzzy, cuddly, green outfit she’s wearing above.  It was Elijah’s, and it’s my very favoritest.  So cute.  It’s close to being retired for good, though, as you can see from the picture.  Boo-hoo.

Yep, that’s the one you got for Elijah oh, so long ago. It’s still like new, so I will most certainly be sending it your way! When exactly did Isaac start walking? Noah crawled at about the same age as Phoebe (but she beat him by about a week!), but he still didn’t walk till he was almost one.

Oh, and thank you for the well-wishes for the weekend. I thought, “How did she know Dave was going away?” and then remembered my Facebook status. By the way, how did your untrasound go…I saw that on your Facebook status. Facebook…so fun.

Hey Janet – if you get too overwhelmed you can send that girly over here. She can cruise to her heart’s content on our furniture!

hey jan, on my way to work and isaac is breathing down my neck like a dinosaur so this note may end abruptly :O) i wish ultrasounds were like in the movies where they let you watch and everyone gets very excited. But here in Canada the techs are not allowed to discuss ANYTHING with you at all. They show you a few shots. With Izze I had his at 19 weeks so you couldn’t see as much. But at 26ish weeks they are so big and you can see so much. “it” waved at us which was cute :O) I tried to see between the legs but I couldn’t tell. I so want to know but I also remember how fun it was to be “surprised” when Izze finally shot out!

Let see walking…it was VBS week which was mid june…so I guess 9 1/2 months? is that the right math? his bday is the last of Aug so I guess so and when he walked – he walked…never stopped moving or crawled again :O)

    Love you!

Oh…oh dear, no, 9 months is way too early. I’m hoping that won’t happen. Although, you know, the funny thing is is that Dave and I have been praying that she will walk early. But 9 months is a bit too early!

Pheobe is giving Ruthie a run for her money. It seems like they may walk at the same time. Kindof sad since Ruth is 8 months older (is that true?). Ruth cruises around furniture and yesterday she pushed off of me a couple of times and stood by herself for a second or two (yeah Ruth). It’s been a long road though. She’s actually seeing a orthopedic guy a in couple of weeks to make sure everything is fine, like her muscles and joints. Grace walked at 9 and a half monnths though and Duncan walked at 15. It’s crazy how different they develop.

I know Bethany, it is crazy how they’re all so different! Even in the same family. I think you had it better though…everyone wants their firstborn to walk early! Elijah was like Duncan, and I remember thinking there was something seriously wrong with him!
