Love that delighted face and those toes. I’ve been reading your blogs with great interest, and have enjoyed hearing what you have learned over the summer. I have been pondering your comments about faith and prophecy. I love fasting and have done so in many different ways over the years. I believe there is nothing as strong in this Universe as fasting and prayer. Isaiah 58 is one of my favortie chapters in the Bible., and I have gone over it and through it, many, many times. With my writing/speaking, I could spend many hours on the computer, researching, writing, etc., but I became determined to spend a certain amount a day and no longer. And I fast every weekend from the computer, from Saturday afternoon until MOnday morning. I never do any writing on Sundays, or interviews. I have been doing this now for probably three years, it is very ‘freeing’ and I look forward to this time every week. I guess my point is this, don’t be to hard on yourself for your ‘props’, in this time of modern knowledge, I believe GOD is going to use many ways to call in ‘his harvest’. Your blogging is excellant, and I believe you already use your gift of prophecy through it. You never know, Janet, who you may be reaching with your comments and the insights/wisdom He is giving to you. Your family, Janet, is really a prophecy that has been passed down through the generations of faithful women.(Elizabeth, Bridget, Florence, Pearl, Mina, Janet and will continue on in Phoebee) I firmly believe that as you continue to write, GOD will use it in ways that you may not even know. So prayerfully chose which ‘props’ you should do without, and let GOD lead you in your gift of prophecy, and I would suggest spending some time in Isaiah 58.
    Love from your Auntie.

Thanks, Auntie Darlene, for these encouraging words. We had an exellent time this summer, and came out of it with a firm conviction that the Lord is establishing an end-time praying church that we want to be a part of. It’s really exciting and very difficult at the same time. I’ve just got all the kids in bed, and will go read Isaiah 58 right now!
