Yup, I turned 32 today, and I’ve been lovin’ every minute of it! Even the first few minutes, during which my four boys brought me this wonderful breakfast in bed (Phoebe was still asleep)…
…And my oldest son, who had woken up not feeling well, stopped at the thresh-hold of our room and proceeded to vomit into the “barf bucket” he was carrying. Oh, it was classic…you should have been there! Ha! …I mean, seriously, what else can ya do but laugh about it, huh? (By the way, he recovered quickly, was feeling well enough to eat lunch and is now outside playing. Ah, the vitality of children!)
Below is what I requested from the kids as a birthday present, a family photoshoot, a feat usually only accomplished with bribery of some kind.
And I guess this one was no different, really, ’cause I promised them we could do a funny face shot at the end. I think it’s pretty obvious who does the best funny face, eh?
I love my life and I love my family! “Gee, I’m glad I’m no one else but me!”
P.S. I won’t be blogging much for the next week; Spring Break began today and runs through April 13. Have a blessed Easter if I don’t “see” you again before then.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! Thanks for the family photo — both of them. When Dave wears this hair style he is looking more and more like Keith Green all the time. I hope that is a compliment — I sure meant it to be one. Bless you, Janet, and your family!!!

I know that breakfast was quite delectable! Two things you should know about it: 1) I didn’t take the photo, Dave took it before he brought it to me and 2) I didn’t even eat half of it. Oh, and there were eggs on there too, you just can’t really tell in that picture.
Todd, yes I think we do have skype. I’ll have to get the details about it from Dave, I think he just made us an account when we got our macbook, ’cause we never had a mic before. I’ll try to e-mail you about it soon.
That’s great about Keith Green, Grampie. Now that you mention it, I agree!

He he…this is a true Potter talent, Debie. My Dad could do it and all of my siblings can do it too (I think). I think the gene may have died, though, with this generation, ’cause none of our kids seem to be able to do it. I can’t really confirm with Phoebe yet, though, I guess, and there’s still hope for the new baby.

Happy Belated Birthday janet. I was offline for a couple of days so I missed being able to tell you that on your birthday. I had to smile at your family picture. I love that even Pheobe tried to make a funny face. Very cute.
