I’m feeling rather proud of myself for actually getting some 8×10s of the kids developed and mounted on the wall. Well, Dave did the mounting on the wall part. Aren’t they lovely? Quite the most beautiful art specimens ever to grace a wall in my opinion…but I’m a little biased.
Ah, the weekend. Not that parents of five can actually have a relaxing weekend (although tonight we’re off to a friends birthday party with only the baby in tow…fun!) but it’s nice to slow down a bit. Life is busy and hectic and crazy and hard work right now but also full of those ‘ordinary miracles.’ (It’s about time to make another one of these!)
I know it is hectic, and busy, but enjoy as much as you can and keep looking for those ‘ordinary miracles’, they are there, and in the busy times more so. One morning when I could barely make my way to the barn after we had been milking for 16 years, as I stepped outside, there was the moon hanging over the covered bridge, I was sure HE hung it just for me. Antoher morning, there was a very unusaual sight, as I had slept in, I was in a panic, and stepped out into a shower, but as I went across to the barn, the sun was just rising, as I turned to the West, a rainbow arched over our farm from field to field. A rainbow in the west is very unusual, maybe there have been two since we’ve been her. That morning I just fell on my back and worshipped GOD! Keep going girl, your doing a wonderful job!
